Help Needed!!

Post date: Feb 21, 2014 5:4:8 PM

75th Midnapore is run by dedicated volunteers who want to give back to the youth of our community. Whether you only have a few hours occasionally or want to participate every week, we can use your help!!

Volunteer opportunities exist at both Section and Group levels, either working directly with youth or simply lending a hand with administration, planning and preparation.  No experience or outdoorsy aptitude is necessary - we have a role to fit your talents and comfort level!  You don't have to have a child involved in the program - anyone with a positive attitude and a willingness to nurture youth is welcome (a great opportunity for retirees, other relatives, or college students looking for youth job experience etc.).

All volunteers interacting with youth must pass a screening process including a police records check, interview, and reference checks as well as a quick and easy training program that can be done online in your own time.  Volunteer screening, training and uniform costs are covered by the group. Experienced volunteers are available to mentor new volunteers.

So what are you waiting for? Now is a great time to sign up, get screened and get some program experience before next year!  Contact your section leader, Group Commissioner Dean Logan or Registrar Beth Matthews for more information:
