Questions about your section and uniform?
You will need to purchase a long-sleeved uniform jersey or shirt (or brown vest and bucket hat for Beavers). Short-sleeved activity shirts Uniform shirts and Beaver vests, and hats can be purchased at the Scout Shop. Neckers, necker slides (woggles) and group badges are supplied by the group at investiture. Attending a camp or sleepover and need to be screened? Here are links to some of the forms and training you will need to complete before being allowed to stay overnight:
Safe Scouting for Parents Training Online:
Create a Login account by selecting Yes or No as appropriate under "Online Self-Registration" on MyScouts.ca If you are a parent/guardian of a registered youth, select "yes" and use the same email and personal information that you entered on your child's registration. If you are not an immediate parent/guardian (eg. another relative listed as an emergency contact or another adult), select "no" and fill out the online form to create an account.
Once you've created an account and logged in, select "Safe Scouting for Parents" from the left sidebar menu or select "Training" from the main horizontal menu and then use the "Safe Scouting for Parents" link at top left. Be sure to sign on using your own parent account so that course completion is properly creditted to you.
